Idris Elba feat DB Maz-knives down music video

I’m honoured to be apart of the Idriselba Knives Down feat. DB Maz [Music Video] directed by by mdfilms for the don’t stop your future campaign to end youth knife crime. The focus of the campaign is to pressure the Government into finally taking it seriously.

Idris is a role model for young people, and his support will help reach more of them with the message of prevention.

The campaign is to enforce tougher deterrents and punishments to those carrying weapons.

The charities that will benefit from ‘Knife Bill’ include The Ben Kinsella Trust, Lives Not Knives and The Jodie Chesney Foundation.

The Ben Kinsella Trust, set up after the 16-year-old was stabbed to death on his way home from a night out in Islington in June 2008, not far from where I lived at the time.

The video shoot took place in east London where I played the part of the family/ friends of the victim. Please support the knives down single on iTunes to help make these changes. My thoughts are with the families who have lost a loved one through knife crime 🙏
